Domain Blacklist Checker
Check a domain on URI blocklists (DBL, SURBL, URIBL) and blacklist status of its MX IPs.
About this tool
Domain reputation matters for email deliverability beyond just sending IPs. This tool checks your domain against URI/domain blocklists — Spamhaus DBL, Spamhaus ZRD, SURBL and URIBL — then resolves MX records and tests each mail server IP against major IP blacklists (Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, Barracuda, SORBS, UCEPROTECT).
A domain listing affects links in messages and From-domain reputation. MX IP listings block inbound and outbound mail. Run this check alongside the IP Blacklist Checker for complete coverage.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between IP and domain blacklists?
IP blacklists flag sending server addresses observed in spam traffic. Domain/URI blacklists flag domain names found in spam links, phishing pages or low-reputation newly registered domains.
Why check MX IPs too?
Your domain's mail servers may be clean on domain lists but their IPs could still be blacklisted from prior abuse — causing bounces and spam folder placement.
What is Spamhaus DBL vs ZRD?
DBL lists domains seen in spam or abuse. ZRD (Zero Reputation Domains) flags newly observed domains with no established reputation yet — common for fresh registrations.
